The District 110 Foundation is proud to support teachers within the district, similar to how we support students. All faculty members, from the early childhood program to the 12th Grade, are eligible to apply for funding.
Past grant recipients have received funds for books, curriculum guides, classroom materials, classroom furniture, and student resources.
Grant applications are accepted throughout the year. The Board of Directors reviews all applications. At the board's discretion, a site visit may be requested as part of the evaluation process. The Community Outreach advisor will contact the requestor during the proposal analysis if the Board of Directors has any questions to be answered.
Award Letter
A grant award letter indicating the Board's positive response to the request and the amount awarded will be sent via email.
Final Report
Upon completion of the project, a final report must be filed with details about the grant outcome and, ideally, a photo of your grant activity.
We ask that you promote the Foundation's support in any interview or publication your project may receive. We also ask that appropriate visual signage be attached to the project, recognizing the foundation's partnership with your organization and its project. This helps others connect with what the foundation can do for potential future projects. If we can help provide logos or graphics to make this possible, please ask us, we are happy to help!
"The mini-grant I received from the District 110 Foundation was used to purchase additional books for my high development classroom. It was immensely helpful for me to build out reading opportunities for my students beyond what anyone expected. Thank you!"
"Thanks so much for the books!!! They are arriving and the students are having a blast reading them - so many students have not seen many of them before..."
